John directs this co-production between CCO, the opera story and the Royal Opera House of Lucie Treacher and Joaquim Badia’s children’s opera Dewi in the Deep.

Dewi is an ordinary 8-year-old girl living an ordinary life. Ordinary, that is, until a school trip to the zoo takes a turn when best friend Tortellini (the tortoise) takes an unexpected dive into the penguin enclosure!
